Festivals that are are promoted as being primarily Folk Music
  festivals are listed in red. Those that are billed as Old-Time
 festivals, or pioneer/heritage festivals with a heavy emphasis
on Old-Time music are listed in blue.  Festivals that are
 advertised as Dulcimer festivals are listed in orange, so you
can scroll down the list and quickly identify the festivals that
you are likely to have an interest in. There is some overlap in
categories and types of music at many festivals, so this is just
a general indication of what seems to be the emphasis of festivals
